Cue the Confetti Themed Birthday Party
After months of trying to find the perfect theme for her daughter’s fifth birthday, Joe of Cake Poppin decided that in true princess fashion, her party would be filled with glitter, fun, and all of her girlfriends, and nothing says party like CONFETTI! That’s where the Cue the Confetti Themed Birthday Party was born! The girls lunched on all of the birthday girl’s favorites: pineapple pizza, freckled fruit salad and pink lemonade. Yum!
The accent colors were based on her favorite colors of teal, pink and glittery gold, and Mom combined that with a classically beautiful black and white stripe pattern. Perfection!
For dessert, the girls enjoyed a fabulous dessert table filled with beautiful treats made by Mom, along with a few of the most talented local bakers. These gorgeous cookies were made by Sweet Baketique and were perfect on a teal vintage serving platter.
The centerpiece of the table was the gorgeous matching cake, made by mom, which was covered with sprinkles that were hand dyed to match the colors of the party. The cake coordinated perfectly with the confetti cake pops, chocolate covered Oreos, gorgeous teal candy apples, and finally those incredible custom sugar cookies!
We love how every dessert was color coordinated to match the party! These Oreos with sprinkles look fabulous!
Fun color coordinated gum balls in tubes served as party favors. There was also a little sprinkle and candy station set up for the girls who decorated cupcakes. Such a fun idea for a party!
The gold sequins number 5 by Making Me Events was the perfect added detail. A jumbo white confetti balloon with a fun tassel really complimented the dessert table and decor. We’re also loving all of the colorful, vintage frames throughout the event, like the black one above and the pretty aqua chalkboard below.
Mom of Cake Poppin did an amazing job styling this event. She also made the cake, mini Oreos, cake pops, and printables! WOW!
The girls wore their favorite fancy dresses and they had an amazing face painter paint each of the girls’ faces with some gorgeous princess designs. There was also a fun cupcake bar with sprinkles and toppings galore!
Mom even found incredible local vendor Bee’s Bling that helped the girls design their own chunky bling necklaces to match perfectly with their beautiful princess dresses! The necklaces served as the perfect favors and accompanied them home, along with some color coordinated gum balls. FUN!
This party was a true labor of love, and with the help of some incredibly talented friends, they were able to create the perfect birthday party for this lucky little lady. She’ll never forget her beautiful day with her best girlfriends!
