Bright and Colorful Gymnastics Birthday Party

Score a perfect 10 with your gymnastics-loving child by celebrating with a bright and colorful Gymnastics Birthday Party. Krista of Hoopla Events hosted a colorful party for her gymnastics-loving daughter Kennedy. This is such a fun party that incorporated gymnastics inspired decorations, treats and favors the guests would flip over!  The inspiration for the colorful dessert table came from the invitation that Anders Ruff designed. Guests were invited to come tumble and twirl with the birthday girl, Kennedy! The gymnastics center had great picnic bench style tables that were covered in white linens with purple runners.  Each place setting was styled with layered lime green and pink polka-dotted plates, plus aqua napkin-wrapped utensils.   White gable boxes were filled with healthier snacks such as applesauce cups, granola bars, popcorn and crackers. Each gable box was decked out in cute themed printable labels and tags, which really helped to tie the theme together. A plain old water bottle was transformed into an “energy drink” with custom beverage wraps. Each was accented with a cute paper straw.   White pails were filled with shred and used to house gymnast-inspired centerpiece picks on each table. Doesn’t the life-size balance beam make for a perfect dessert table prop? An oversized silhouette of a girl on the beam was added with festive large pink marquee letters from Lollipop Lights to spell out Kennedy’s name. Colorful polka dot balloons paired nicely with a ribbon banner made from digital scrapbook paper.  Desserts were stunning! The focal piece was the 2 tiered cake with a replica of a gymnast made in fondant!All the sugar cookies were beautiful as well and fit the theme perfectly!White pails were filled with paper shred and were the perfect display for star cake pops.Coordinating toppers were made for the cupcakes and the mini chocolate covered Oreos looked amazing with the stars.Before guests returned home, each was invited to visit the favor table, which was decorated with another oversized printable gymnast and coordinating ribbon banner, reminiscent of the dessert table. Spray painted crates in the party colors served as “shelves” for a variety of fun favors.  Printable gymnastics ribbons were strung as a bunting on the front of the table. What a cute idea!There were ribbon wands and candy tubes filled with layered flavors of jelly beans. They were topped with star labels from the printable gymnastics collection.  Check out these suckers with “gold”, “silver” and “bronze” medal-inspired labels!There were jump ropes with custom favor toppers and custom-made gym bags too! How fun!Guests were thrilled to take home some sweet treats and gymnastics gear for future trips to the gym!Don’t these little guests look adorable in their custom shirts? They loved practicing their poses! The girls also tested out the fun ribbon wands and gym bags.This was one fun Gymnastics Birthday Party, getting to watch friends and family tumble with all the little ones, especially the birthday girl!
