An Old Fashioned Father’s Day
In honor of Father’s Day this weekend I’m kicking off our Father’s Day inspiration with this Old Fashioned Father’s Day feature from Laura’s Little Party. This dessert table, in honor of her stepfather and grandfather, included some old-fashioned, personal items, such as an old ice cream parlor chair, a rickety dresser, a razor, cigar box, old Coke crate, and a few items that belonged to her ancestors.
Below is an old picture of Laura’s grandfather when he was 3 years old with his pet goat. The pocket watch belonged to her great-great-grandfather. Also on display was an old lock and chain that belonged to her great-grandfather, who worked at L.A. Transit, which is engraved on the lock.
Peanut butter bars were displayed inside an old cigar box.
The root beer bottles were displayed with adorable ‘Daddy & Co.’ tags designed by J. At Your Service.
How adorable are those tie cupcake toppers and the chocolate mustache lollipops?
A big thank you to Laura of Laura’s Little Party for sharing this wonderful Father’s Day feature!
