Baked With Love Bridal Shower Celebration
Bridal showers are so much fun! The love, happiness, and most of all, the anticipation for the soon-approaching Big Day are all in the air! I love seeing the simple, yet elegant themes that brides choose for their big day and this one was such a unique way to involve the bride! She has a passion for baking and definitely wanted to be involved in some of the actual preparation for the event, so what better theme than to have it be a Baked with Love Bridal Shower Celebration!
The colors chosen were mint, pink, along with touches of gold. Gorgeous!
And because of the bride’s love for baking, she wore a custom apron with her initials on it from L Embroidery & Design, along with a super cute mini chef’s hat from Alphabulous! The bride is very girly but likes to keep things simple and timeless, so working on her special day was an honor and she was so grateful for all of the work and thought that was put into it.
The bride-to-be didn’t stop there! She also created all of the flower arrangements, herself! She loves creating arrangements in her spare time and this was a good way to keep her involved. And she did such a wonderful job! She really felt a sense of accomplishment with being able to take part in one of the central activities of planning the shower.
The shower was held at Town Kitchen & Bar Miami in Miami, FL. Twenty-five girls attended the special afternoon and everyone was feeling the love throughout the day! There was so much excitement!
As a stationary designer, Paper Dream Creations wanted everything to come together nicely and to match. While Pinterest was utilized (who doesn’t love Pinterest?!?!), most of the ideas were original from Paper Dream Creations. The colors were chosen to keep it somewhat together with her wedding feel. Accents of gold added an extra touch of glam and glassware was made with items Paper Dream Creations already had in her arsenal of party-planning inventory. Mason jars were actually used instead of glassware, and were adorned with a paper straw and heart glitter flag. They turned out exquisite!
Menus, and favor boxes were made to match the invitations. For party favors, each guest took a 6 inch wooden spoon, cookie mix for 12 cookies and a heart-shaped cookie cutter. How super cute is that?!?!
The food at the shower was provided by the restaurant. Chicken with mashed potatoes, steak with vegetables and their signature burger were a hit with everyone!
You Can Call Me Sweetie and Sweet Bites by Jannette provided the amazing cake pops, Oreos, pretzels and delicious cookies! Cupcakes were provided by Mishas Miami and the lovely cake was made by Todo Dulce Miami. They were awesome!
Favorite elements of the event that really stood out were the signs that Paper Dream Creations designed for the tables. “Keep calm and Let’s ROLL to the chapel” and ” Hey there cupcake, welcome” were big hits! They were so adorable! Another favorite was the mod-podging of the ” E” initial (the bride’s initial) with gold glitter. Cupcake liners were used to create flowers to decorate the chalk board, which were made by Three Boxer Lane. It turned out perfect and were seamless integrations into this fun bridal shower!
DIY projects were everywhere! Paper Dream Creations designed all of the paperie for the shower, from invites to menus, paper straws, gift bags, and banners.
Three fun games were played at the shower that all of the ladies loved, including:
- What’s in Your Purse?
- How Well Do You Know the Couple?
- Bridal Bingo
Overall, the colors, as well as the entire theme were perfection! It was a wonderful afternoon for the bride. She loved being able to participate and it was all done nicely on a budget. As stated before, it was simple, yet very elegant, just like this bride!
