When this beautiful soul arrive in 2011, my world completely changed forever! I was a nervous wreck! I was now responsible for another human being – one that I instantly loved more than life itself! I was so overwhelmed with love and this feeling that I would protect him from anything and everything! It wasn’t until my son was born that I really got to see the amazing job God has given me! Being a mom is a true blessing.

The toughest thing for me is being a working mother. You feel guilty because you’re not with your child all day and you’re wondering if you’re missing out on all of his special milestones – his first word, first steps, etc. My mom was also a working mother. I think that’s where I get my work ethic! Why not throw a full-time job into the mix?! I think it’s great to show your children that you can work outside the home and be a hands-on mom when you’re not working. In the beginning, getting used to no sleep was challenging!
