Having a baby is one of the most amazing miracles and a wonderful time for Mom- and Dad-to-be! So, why is it that Moms get to have all the fun with a baby shower? For my baby shower, we decided to have a co-ed party and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! The dad-to-be is just as important as the mom-to-be in this wonderful new chapter in life. Maybe this is why some guys are having their own “man parties!” Bigdotofhappiness.com has the perfect party line for guys who just want to have fun and have a Daddy Baby-Q Man Shower!

The one thing that can be quite expensive and certainly is a necessity for any new dad is diapers! Kara of Saving By Design makes the best diaper cakes! This Daddy Diaper Cake even has some baby necessities hidden inside for the parents-to-be. How fun!

I personally love the “man shower” party trend! The guys can get together and have a few burgers and beer before baby arrives.

I wanted to create a simple table for the guys, so the first thing I made was the red paper plate backdrop. The backdrop costs less than $10 and about a half hour to make. It’s definitely one of my favorite DIY projects for parties. It quick and simple and you don’t have to break the bank to make it!

Kabobs are a staple at any BBQ, but these candy kabobs are just so much fun! They even have a baby bottle on them. So clever! Sweets Indeed did a great job with these and they fit the theme perfectly!

Local artist Francesca Campisano Burke is such an amazing talent! Her burger cupcakes looked too good to eat and were the perfect addition to this Daddy Baby-Q!

Francesca also did these fun cheeseburger cookies! When styling my dessert tables, I love to add candy or sprinkles to the serving trays or platters because it makes the desserts really pop!I love how these chocolate sprinkles look with the cookies!

Any good BBQ needs S’mores, right?! Francesca made these delicious S’mores cupcakes, which were hit among guests!

The man shower wouldn’t be complete without some craft beer, so a variety of beverages were displayed with these fun sun glass Bottle Toppers.

I’ve been wanting a nice beverage tub for parties, so I ordered this fun one from Personal Creations. “The Tipsy Tub,” as I like to call it, was definitely a hit at this party!

Custom mason jars from Always the Occasion were used for our paper straws and utensils. They were designed with a spatula and grill and matched the decor perfectly!

Fun matching Personalized Candy Boxes were filled with gummy hot dog and hamburger candies from Sweets Indeed.

Fun Daddy Advice Cards were also on hand for the guys to give the “newbie” dad some parenting tips!
