Flamingo Dessert Table Welcome Party

What could be more fun than celebrating the arrival of a new little baby girl (number FOUR, I might add…) to a family?! Mom loves to have parties and set up dessert tables, so she definitely didn’t need any encouragement to set up a fun event for the new little bundle of joy! Close friends and family loved being able to attend this awesome Flamingo Dessert Table Welcome Party to welcome this sweet little baby girl to their lives!

The party was held at the family’s house and attended by close friends and family (around 20 people), to celebrate the arrival.  Mom had decided about half way through her pregnancy to have a ‘Sip and See’ party and an official welcome to the world for this sweet baby girl.  She started looking online for ideas and came across a very cute pool party invitation by Natalie from A Pretty Little Party.  After contacting her, she customized an invite to suit the Flamingo theme that Mom had come up with.

The initial ‘flamingo’ theme came up when Mom saw a cute picture online and the theme took off from there.  After traveling earlier in the year to a cookie convention, Mom picked up numerous flamingo items which helped cement the theme even more! Flamingos are becoming quite popular in Australia (where this family lives) at the moment, so her timing for this type of theme was just perfect!

The favorite part of the table had to be the gorgeous 7″ tall hand painted flamingo cookies (Found at The Cookie Cutter via ecrandle, who were super accommodating during the ordering process).  Coming in a very close second was the gorgeous ‘hello violet’ cake topper by Glistening Occasions. 

Sweet treats, macarons, cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, and MORE were all provided by Poppies & Cream Sweets Studio, Bake Me Bella, Frosted by Nicci Cupcakes, and Poppies & Cream Sweets Studio. 

And wow!  Do they look delicious.  What an incredible Dessert Table spread!

While there weren’t any type of games, Mom really just wanted to focus on having a nice afternoon tea which everyone could come to and have some bubbly, a piece of cake and a cuddle! How perfect and what a fun event!
