The Golden Egg Book Easter Party

Kenna of Miss Party Mom , with the help of some party friends, styled this gorgeous The Golden Egg Book Easter Party. Kenna grew up loving The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown and decided it would be a perfect idea to put together a Spring photo shoot based on the book. Kenna and Hannah of Hannah’s Cookies and Treats designed the dessert table around the book and Christina of Moments Captured Photography was there to capture the fun details.

The paper doilies that were used to create the scalloped look on the awning were an easy and fun DIY.

A pennant flag banner with pages from the book were the perfect addition to the dessert table decor.

They wanted to keep all the desserts as themed to the book as possible and everything was adorable looking!

The Garden Carrots in push pops were crumbled brownies with sugar filled carrots from The Dollar Tree.

The silverware bags were the perfect table setting for the girls. The bags included a napkin, a jumbo paper straw, glitter fork, and a cute felt decoration clipped to the front.

There were plenty of character based cookies as well as Hannah’s beautiful egg cookies that were almost too pretty to eat!

Pretty glitter eggs and the large golden egg were both found at Target.

The dessert table also included these fun Tulip Cakes by Little Debbie that were drizzled with melting chocolates and topped in sugar – such a great no-bake party idea!

Other desserts included chocolate dipped grahams (perfect for kids!), mini cupcakes, peeps, different sizes of robin eggs and cups of cotton candy from the Dollar Tree.

The cake pops were tied with frilly and fun ribbons and the peanut butter nests made out of chow mein noodles were a hit among everyone!
