Which one of you remembers watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown when you were a child? Do you watch it with your children now? What a fun Halloween tradition it can be for families! Laura’s Little Party passed this fun tradition on to her own children and decided it would be fun to plan a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Party! She knew her children would love this theme, so she started looking on Oriental Trading for party supplies and decor. Adorable themed plates, gable boxes, and drink containers were set out for guests. The yellow table cover with black polka dots was an awesome find and resembled Charlie Brown’s shirt colors.

Polka dot canvas bags were set out next to a sign that read “I’ve Got Rock.” Rice Krispie Treats formed to look like rocks were covered in melted chocolate. The brightly-colored party cake was made from Styrofoam, wrapping paper and tissue festooning. The faux cakes are a great added decor element! The darling cake pops were from Bella’s Bakery and Bowtique. The adorable pumpkin cookies were found at Starbucks.

If you’ve ever seen the movie you will remember the part when Charlie Brown and Snoopy are raking up a big pile of leaves. And then Linus, while holding his sucker, runs full speed and jumps into the big pile of leaves! Laura covered large suckers with some artificial leaves, to represent that very scene! How clever! The Charlie Brown goblin was placed near The Great Pumpkin patch, overlooking the party table. Great Pumpkin Cookies were also set out for guests as they all awaited The Great Pumpkin’s arrival! FUN!

Fun fall activities are a must-have at any Halloween celebration. At this party, guests had a great time bobbing for apples! After all of the fun, guests were treated to a showing of the classic movie! What an awesome way to celebrate Halloween! Any child would have a blast at a party like this!
