Korean First Birthday Celebration
This little beauty turned one year old and had a traditional Korean First Birthday Celebration. What beautiful colors and theme!
Doljanchi is a Koran tradition that celebrated the first birthday of a baby. The ceremony blesses the child with a prosperous future and has taken on great significance in Korea.
The theme of the party was inspired by the Mo Willems book, The Elephant and Piggie series!
The birthday girl even dressed up as Piggie during her cake smash. She looked so adorable and she dived into that cute piggie cake like a champ!
The cake was created by The Cake Queens and was absolutely perfect for this little girl’s big day! The Elephant and Piggie theme was kept alive and the simple cake fit in perfect on the classic desert table.
Simple, but delicious treats were available for all of the guests, and they even got to take home their own treat box!
A sweet area during the first birthday event was the guest book that everyone was able to add to. Pictures surrounded the area of the birthday girl’s first year, and everyone was able to give advice and leave cards of celebration for the family to read at a later time. What a wonderful keepsake!
Beautiful, yet simple flowers were found throughout the birthday party.
And just like that, this little birthday girl’s first year of life flew by! First birthdays are always such a sweet and special celebration. Not only for the birthday girl, but for her entire family. This amazing Korean First Birthday Party was no different!
