Nautical First Birthday Party

This fun Nautical First Birthday Party was held in central Florida for a special little 1 year old with about 40 guests in attendance. The guest of honor was an adorable little sailor named Vito! Vito’s parents wanted to throw him a fun party with their closest family and friends to celebrate this special milestone. They decided that this fun nautical theme would be perfect for the party!

Vito’s mom, Rachel, originally wanted a royal prince themed birthday, but after looking at the venue and seeing the nautical-inspired decor that was already provided, she decided to go with the nautical theme to fit the venue. The space was all decked out in nautical decor, including navy striped fabric table covers and a fun dessert table backdrop with a large anchor. The colors of the party were gold, white and blue and one favorite element of the decor was the $5 treasure chest that was found at a local garage sale.

Kosher and Cuban food was brought in by both sides of the family to highlight both of Vito’s family cultures. Desserts included a three-tiered cake, chocolate covered Rice Krispie treats, chocolate covered Oreos, lemon shooters, cake pops, chocolate covered strawberries, an assortment of candy, cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzels. WOW! Now that’s a dessert spread.

Guests enjoyed swimming in the pool and music was provided by DJ Fabian. What a great Nautical First Birthday Party for little Vito, his family and friends!
