Pink and Gold Themed Birthday Party
Every Mommy wants to do amazing things for their little girl’s birthday party! This Momma wanted to do something sophisticated and girly for her daughter’s 2nd birthday and after racking her brain and thinking of different fun themes, she was sure a Pink and Gold Themed Birthday Party would do the trick!
There was lots of fun to be had thinking of creative ways to display the birthday girl’s initial, along with adding tons of awesome little details throughout the party. Since the party was held at home, it was easy to make sure she would be able to incorporate lots of DIY details that were on her mind! Michael’s provided much of the inspiration and Mom got lots of ideas from the store for some DIY fun! She found little vases there that she covered with tacky glue and then rolled them in glitter. It was super easy and was a great way to add a little POP to the tablescape! Another favorite was the photo display of the birthday girl that adorned the fireplace mantel. What a great way to show off what the birthday girl had been up to all year, along with having a great decorative element for the party!
What better way to celebrate a birthday than with DESSERTS! These cupcakes really captured the essence of the pink and gold theme, with wonderful cupcake wrappers and toppers that incorporated everything in such a pretty way! Check out this sweet, sophisticated cake! We love how the cake stand incorporates the color scheme, with the wonderful hearts adorning the top of the cake. How sweet!
Mom also made the “2” marshmallows. Wow! We love how these turned out and we’re sure they tasted even better! And who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries!?!?
What pink and gold birthday party would be complete without pink lemonade?!?! The drink table was so cute and the pink chevron straws were such a great touch! Mom also made this tassel backdrop which can be found in this Tutorial! We love DIY projects! Look how sweet the birthday girl’s throne was?!?! The gold shimmery letters, along with the birthday hat and sweet cupcake really knocked this little girl’s socks off! How cute!
Overall, it looks like it was an awesome theme that was totally sweet and fun for the little lady’s birthday!

hi there,
can you share where i can buy those hanging gold glitter frames ? thank you
I bought them at Michaels. They are a light weight wood that I put tacky glue on a covered with glitter.
Beautiful party!
I was wondering where you got the gold glitter sign on the high chair that says "TWO"?
can you please tell me where she got the gold frame with pictires or if she made the gold fame? thank you
BEAUTIFUL beautiful party! Very inspiring. I am having my daughter’s little 1st bday party next month and want it to be special and you have inspired me a lot. The theme colors are mint, pink and gold. And got some great ideas to increment mine. I have a couple of questions and I hope you’re able to answer:
1- I am wondering if you spray painted the #2 on the cake or if that is edible.
2- Also, can you tell me where did you get the table cloths? I am still debating on what color I will use for the table linens [was thinking about light pink], but the one you used is so cute that I might consider. 🙂
3- Last but not least.. where did you get the pink cupcake wrappers? It’s the second party I see them but I just can’t find them anywhere.
And this is it. Again, beautiful!
Thanks for sharing!
Where did you get the tablecloths?
