Preppy Boy Nautical Birthday Party

This Preppy Boy Nautical Birthday Party from Pretty Posh Events is the perfect party theme for a little boy who LOVES sailboats! Twelve little guests and their parents were treated to a fun, modern party with sailboats, captain hats, an awesome nautical themed cake, and more! All of the details for the party were inspired by navy blue, yellow and white colors.
The modern dessert table featured red velvet cake, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, black and white brownies, jello and tons of candy and chocolate bars! A modern table was set of for party guests and included fun captain hats for the kids! Guests also enjoyed pizza, sandwiches, fried rice, grilled chicken and salads. Yum! I’m sure no one left the party hungry!The clean, modern tables included navy blue and white striped linens and featured lighthouses and boats as centerpieces.There were so many fun highlights of this celebration, but Mom was especially excited to see her cake design come to life and she also loved how the favor station came out. She stacked modern white cubes together, looped a large yellow rope with an anchor around it, and stacked up the bags like sand bags. How clever! She asked her baker Tasha to replicate the look of the yellow rope around the base of the second tier of the cake and she nailed it! Amazing!

Mom made the theme chocolate bars using wrappers provided by Ledingham Store and also made a backdrop using ribbons and the mini sailboats from origami town and the name banner from Ledingham as well. Mom also loves to bake so she made black and white brownies in mini blue and white paper cups as well as jello with a DIY toothpick mast. How creative!

Cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, koozies, popcorn, oh my! Everything fit the theme perfectly!Kids got to enjoy some playtime with a bouncy house. The party favors were little books and bath toy sailboats and the kids got to take some yummy treats home with them as well. What a fun day for this little man and his family and friends! It really is fun to be 1!
