Pumpkin and Roses First Birthday Party

What do you when your sweet baby girl’s 1st birthday is in October?! Have a gorgeous Pumpkin and Roses First Birthday Party, of course! Mom, Nicole, of Million Dollar $smile Celebrations plans parties for a purpose and this party was dedicated to the birthday girl’s great-grandmother who passed away from Alzheimer’s Disease. This occasion was focused on making memories because family memories last forever! In lieu of gifts, guests were encouraged to donate to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. What a sweet way to honor the memory of her great-grandmother and all of the wonderful memories they have of her.

The theme had a country chic feel with lots of pumpkins, roses and lace. How beautiful!

 Guests used their thumb and an ink pad to leave a ‘print in the patch’ on the canvas. Such a cute idea!

In the trees hung frames of Evelyn’s first year, month by month! And how cute was the kids’ table?! A hay bale covered in lace was used as the table with 6 pumpkins as a place for the kids to sit and eat in between playing!

Grandpa’s 1940 Ford pick up truck served as a fun photo backdrop and buffet serving area. It was the perfect element for this backyard party!

Fresh veggies, cheese, crackers and bread were served next to hollowed out pumpkins filled with hummus and ranch dressing, YUM! Fresh-baked cornbread muffins, mixed gourmet nuts, and Chick-Fil-A nuggets (a family favorite) completed the buffet-like spread.

Guests used pink depression plates, wrapped burlap napkins, and bamboo cutlery. Every little detail of the party stayed true to the theme and looked absolutely beautiful!

Fabric-covered straw bales were created for the lounge area under a large tree adorned with hanging mason jar lanterns. So pretty!

Surrounded by pumpkins and roses, the truck became “Evelyn’s Pumpkins & Roses” produce truck! How adorable!

The dessert table was filled with yummy treats including cake pops, cookies, a gorgeous cake, and more!

Pretty pink cupcakes were adorned with fun pumpkin toppers.

A gorgeous assortment of cookies looked too good to eat!

Pretty pink chocolate covered Oreos adorned with sweet pumpkins were just one of the many yummy sweets served to guests.

The cake pop pumpkin patch was absolutely adorable!

French macaroons were bite-size and pumpkin and rose flavored! YUM!

The birthday girl enjoyed her smash cake in her grandma’s 1940s pink vintage highchair. What a sweet little smash cake for this little pumpkin! And look at that adorable pumpkin headband! Too cute!

The little guests picked pumpkins from the patch and visited the “Pink or Treat” candy display. 

Guests sipped pink lemonade with fun polka dot straws.

Each guest was given a mini burlap and lace treat bag and filled them with all things sugary and pink!
