Toasts and Smokes Surprise Birthday Party

What can you possibly get for a guy who has everything for his 30th birthday?  That’s what Stephanie Kendrick (Survivor Seasons Palau, Guatemala, and Heroes vs villains) wondered when thinking about what to get her hubby, Kyle Kendrick (MLB Phillies Pitcher) for his 30th!  Then it dawned on her … how about an awesome Toasts and Smokes Surprise Birthday Party?!

Widell Designs created an awesome event for the birthday boy.  Since Kyle has a love for country music, fine whiskey, and cigars, it was sure to be the center of this party! This rustic themed event was the perfect combination for his surprise!

Beautiful invitations were designed by Foglio Press and Tiny Turnip that announced the upcoming surprise.  They incorporated the elements beautifully!

In a private room at The Capital Grille Philadelphia, family and friends awaited his arrival.  Everyone was super excited to finally let the cat out of the bag!

The details were magnificent and included a four-course dinner!  Yum!

What a generous display of sweets to take home (thanks to Cakes and Candies by Maryellen)!  There was just about anything you could think of and everything looked absolutely delicious.  What an awesome presentation on the dessert table!

There was also an amazing whiskey bar, along with a cigar lounge with help from Cigars Direct.  There were also stand-up comedians that brought such a fun vibe to the entire birthday surprise.  

The custom wine favors for the Uncork For A Cause charity were such a wonderful and thoughtful touch and added to the many amazing memories.  What more could a guy ask for?

The centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and fit with the theme perfectly!  From a small whiskey barrel in the middle- to beautiful floral arrangements, it added such a perfect element to the event!

This was definitely a guy’s guy birthday celebration and it couldn’t have been more masculine, yet totally tasteful and elegant.  What a wonderful idea and it went off without a hitch.  Bravo!
