Valentines Day Slumber Party Styled Shoot

Valentine’s Day can be a fun time for young girls to spend some time together and celebrate the big day! This wonderful Valentines Day Slumber Party Styled Shoot centered around five high school-aged best friends are doing just that! What a fun and girly day to spend with your besties!

The styled shoot took place at a private residence in rural Virginia and was the perfect background for these best friends to celebrate this holiday. And what better way to do that than with a fun slumber party?!

Because it was Valentine’s Day, the colors centered around red, pink, neutrals, gold, and of course… GLITTER!  It was important to do something that was chic and stylish, but still young and playful to capture their youth. A slumber party seemed the perfect way to go! Instead of focusing on typical Valentine’s shoots that heavily feature romance, this was a wonderful twist for young girls still dreaming of their first love.

After providing an initial vision board, the vendors collaborated by providing custom designs for the decor, cupcakes, favors, etc., which completely fit the desired look! And Firefly Photography was on-hand to capture all of the special moments and details!

Extras like nail polish, hot chocolate, and candy were all gathered from home and bought from local grocery stores. Popcorn, hot chocolate with marshmallows, and various candies and cookies were included.

Favorite elements included the gorgeous custom pillows and bunting in custom fabrics from Stone Soup. They brought the whole look together with a chic, but comfy feel. They were gorgeous!

Delicious vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting were also provided by Jenn Anne Cupcakes. How perfect do they look?!

Party favors consisted of the adorable felt hearts by Felt Song Fiber.

The best part about this styled shoot was that it really felt like an actual party!  The girls were giggling and bonding, sharing jokes and flipping through magazines like a genuine old-fashioned sleepover! Everyone had a blast putting everything together and capturing some true feminine, fresh fun for this sweet Valentine’s Day party theme!
