Janel Gonzalez of Mary Dann Wedding Planner & Party Coordinators styled this whimsical Winter Candyland Themed Birthday for her son Alejandro’s first birthday. While brainstorming ideas for the party, she came across “A Winter Candyland” party theme from Fresh Chick Designs. The tables featured cute penguins from Cost Plus World Market converted into centerpieces by placing a glass cup inside. Friend Eddie Serna filled them with simple red and white flower arrangements accented with peppermint candy. Beautiful red poinsettias helped make the backyard more festive. Guests enjoyed a wonderful dessert table that featured many sweets and they even got to take home goody bags with hot chocolate and candy! Before digging into the dessert bar, a kid-friendly menu was served from Huntington Catering that included sliders, macaroni and cheese, and mini grilled cheese with tomato soup. What a wonderful winter-themed birthday!
